Fashionable adaptive technology for the visually impaired is handcrafted from the client’s favorite jacket, microprocessor, vibration boards, Maxbotix ultrasonic range finders and conductive thread. This wearable computer technology assists the wearer in freely navigating the build and natural environments.

The coat sends sonar pings out sensing the environment. If an object is within 24″ the vibrating motor will activate and buzz that an object lies in the users path.

Costumes for Apex Dance Theater performance with Zoe Keating
at the Colorodao Music Festival
on 3 August 2010 in Boulder, Colorado.

Multiple layers of sheer organza surface embellished with black light reactive ribbons create the avant guard split long tutus.  Matching fabrics create the custom corsets and tap pants.  The gender neutral costumes are simply identified by the tutu lining colors of neon pink, green or orange.
